Tracing the History of the Computer - Grady Booch

 

Grady Booch (born 1955) is a software designer, a software methodologist and a design pattern enthusiast. He is chief scientist of Rational Software (now a part of IBM) and a series editor for Benjamin/Cummings.

Grady is best known for developing the Unified Modeling Language with Ivar Jacobson and James Rumbaugh. He also developed the Booch method of software development, which he presents in his book, Object Oriented Analysis and Design. He advises to AddMoreClasses to simplify complex code.

He is also the author of Object Solutions.
