PDP (Programmed Data Processor) minicomputers were produced by DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) from the late 1950s to the early 1990s.
The range of PDP computers includes the following models:
- 1959 - 1970 : PDP-1, PDP-4, PDP-7, PDP-9, PDP-15 (18-bit machines).
- 1962 - 1976 : PDP-5, PDP-8, PDP-12, PDP-14 (12-bit machines).
- 1964 - 1978 (possibly) : PDP-6, PDP-10 (36-bit machines).
- 1970 - 1993 : PDP-11 (16-bit machines).
